Mainstream science used to tell us that there is no proof that we are anything more than biological bodies with a brain and that after our body and brain die, there is nothing more. No more life. Science and technology have advanced to a point where life after death can clearly be seen in brain cells after physical death. Brain cells not only continue to live, they grow fast.

When I am asked to assist a client with a spirit communication, I fall into my version of “opening to spirit” and do the best I can in the circumstances. And the circumstances can vary significantly from situation to situation. Both the client requesting and the spirit sought can be in any number of moods and manifest any number of attitudes and it’s only my experience as psychic medium that lets me juggle the options until a harmony is achieved.
There’s an island that was manifested long ago and it still exists today. White sand beaches surround it and the slow crashing and swelling of waves on the beach provide a natural calming sound that is soothing and relaxing. It is an intriguing and persuasive metaphor, the notion that a belief can be imprisoning, and one I’ve often hinted it when discussing “belief systems”, those religious, cultural and political ideologies that millions of us humans are partial to.
Kindness Matters: this has been my mantra for 2021. When immersed in conversation, whether online or in person, different views emerge. I’ve learned to honor each person’s point of view. It doesn’t signify that I agree with their opinion; often, I do not. But whether we concur with others’ positions or beliefs doesn’t matter as long as we respond with kindness.
This truly is a day in the life for me. When you get to the space of stillness, peace and Zen day in and day out, you experience miracle after miracle. You keep getting the miracles because you honor them and are constantly wowed by them. You can’t help but know what you experience is a miracle and you are unable to contain the marvel, and always exploding with gratitude. When you live in this vicious circle, it’s one you want to be in. We are always getting back what we think about.
Often, after a few breakthroughs in that bumpy and mysterious ride on the illusion-busting journey to more knowledge and less faith, we indulge ourselves in spells of excitement, and that excitement not only powers the desire for more but also rides roughshod over the calm receptivity that gives the transcendence a place to settle and show you its wonders.
