Reincarnation—the idea of returning to Earth for another lifetime. This concept can evoke both hope and weariness, especially when life’s challenges weigh heavy. Why do we keep coming back? Is it purely for spiritual growth, or is there more to the story?
Through my connection with Amaris, my spiritual guide, I’ve gained profound insights into the cycle of reincarnation—what some call the “wheel of reincarnation.” I share her wisdom here to shed light on this intricate and deeply personal journey.
From Amaris’ perspective, reincarnation is not a trap or punishment but an opportunity. Each lifetime is chosen with care, designed to provide unique experiences that contribute to the soul’s evolution. While spiritual growth is at the heart of reincarnation, there is so much more to it. The Earth offers a unique opportunity to experience the physical realm. Here, we can feel emotions deeply, taste delicious food, smell fragrant flowers, and embrace loved ones. These sensory experiences are not available in the same way in the non-physical realms, making life on Earth a cherished experience for the soul.
Relationships are another key reason for reincarnating. Through them, we learn about love, forgiveness, compassion, and understanding. Souls often reincarnate together in various roles, helping each other heal and grow through shared experiences. Earth is also a place to master duality. It offers a world of contrasts—light and dark, joy and sorrow, love and fear. By navigating these opposites, we deepen our understanding of balance and harmony, lessons essential for our soul’s growth.
Before we incarnate, we also create agreements known as soul contracts. These contracts outline the lessons and experiences we’ve chosen for our growth, as well as the roles we will play in each other’s lives. These pre-incarnation agreements guide us through our journey, giving structure to the challenges and opportunities we face.
Karma is another aspect of reincarnation, but it is often misunderstood. Many think of it as a system of cosmic punishment, but Amaris describes it as energy—actions and choices that create ripples. These ripples return to us, not as retribution, but as opportunities to learn and realign. For example, if we caused harm in one lifetime, we may choose to experience a similar situation to understand its effects from the other perspective. Karma is not a jailor; it is a compassionate teacher guiding us toward greater awareness and balance.
Reincarnation on Earth is not an endless cycle. Amaris emphasizes that the “wheel” is a choice, not a trap. When a soul feels it has learned and grown enough, it can transition to other realms of experience or service. Some souls may choose to stop reincarnating on Earth entirely, while others may return not for growth but to guide and assist humanity. Each path is unique, shaped by the soul’s desires and its evolving understanding of existence.
While life on Earth can be challenging, it is also profoundly beautiful. The hardships we face often lead to the deepest growth, and the joys we experience remind us of the magic of being alive. Amaris’s message is clear: Earth is a sacred space, and our time here is a gift, even when it feels heavy. We return not because we have to, but because we want to. Each incarnation is an opportunity to explore, grow, heal, and express love in ways that only the physical realm allows.
The wheel of reincarnation is not a trap but a spiral of ascension, guiding us toward greater understanding and unity with the Creator. As we embrace the lessons and joys of each life, we move closer to the essence of who we truly are—eternal beings of light, love, and infinite potential.
If you’ve ever felt the weight of life’s challenges and wondered why you’re here, know that you are on a sacred journey, chosen by your soul. Trust that every step, no matter how difficult, is leading you to greater clarity, wisdom, and love.
