I wonder about these too, how much of are life circumstances have been predetermined? How much choice we have? Did we really choose all this shit? Sometimes it seems there cannot be a valid reason for the suffering here, but things seem different from the other side.

I know exactly what you mean. I can’t imagine that I chose some of this stuff that’s happened in this lifetime.

Maybe not all was chosen by you personally, as I mentioned to Adrian. Think “family dramas” for example. Or political movements you have no sympathy with. The list goes on….

I know I chose my family but I must have been drinking heavily at the time LOL.

Agreed Adrian. One point: When we choose, you know, parents, friends, siblings for “karmic” reasons, we my have to take on some of their “stuff” that isn’t necessarily ours…addictions, criminality, etc.
Same with choice of nation. Theosophists used to talk about “national karma” that you have to accept as a precondition of birth. As a Brit born in 52 I think I knew about our Empire karma, and the commonwealth results, and other challenges, and as a Canadian since ’68, very close to the US, I am aware of America’s empire building karma, just to give two examples.
Suffering seems also to be a precondition of existence here. For me that seems to work out as coping with a good dose of humour. Or, as I like to say. “Shit happens and you deal with it.”

Yes these ancestral issues are really hard for some people.

Adrian, due to a number of past lives in Europe/Britain, I was/am very interested in the progress of the European Union. The first empire no-one was forced to join, and am now thinking over the upsurge in reactionary nationalism we’re seeing there. Obviously a pendulum swing that will swing back sometime.

I’m not sure what you mean by progress. The way I see it from Hungary, the EU is increasingly trying to become an empire, dismantling the sovereignity of its member states any way it can. Its easy to see this, thatswhy the pushback in the form of nationalism. Some people would disagree with me on this. We were not forced to join, but they surely lied to us, many of the promises have been broken. For example salaries are still 1/4 of what it is in Germany after 20 years of membership. Interesting that you can remember past lives, was it accomplished trough hypnosis or OBE exploration, maybe both?

Okay, by “progess” I mean moving away form the nation states that were the outcome of tribalism merged for mutaul assurance, into the next stage of multi-ethnic unions that are a prelude, and maybe a long one, to the one world concept. Perhaps being politically manipulated into the EU seems like a small step from being forced into the Austro-Hungarian or Ottoman Empire, but it is a step.
Past lives? yes, many exampes over the decades…spontaneous visions during meditations, lucid dreams recalled, regression work, obe visits. My book You Are History covers all this extensively.
Also, if my ‘spiritual visions of EU etc seem politically naive, I will not argue the point: they could well be.

Its Ok, I dont care too much about political ideologies. The discovery of our spiritual nature, past lives, ancient history, our connection to Ets, and other realms, devic, angelic, elemental and the Earth itself are far more intresting for me.
I also think increasing awarness of these could solve many of our issues that are popular in discussion today, like what could past life awarness do to a racist, who suddenly remembers a past life as a black slave. Or to a religious fanatic who believes we have only one life, and would shun everyone to hell who thinks otherwise.
I watched some of your OBE journal videos, very intresting ones. I liked the vids about Maitreya. Intresting perspectives.
Also good job on the books, I like your style. I couldnt find “More adventures In eternity” in an ebook format anywhere.

Yes, the increasing awareness you see and/ or hope for could solve a number of those issues, just for the reasons you mention.
Glad you enjoyed the vids, they can communicate in a way that essays struggle for. Maitreya is a special presence and I am honoured to be a messenger.
More Adventures In Eternity was not ebooked by its publisher and remains so. Print only. I have been told I have the copyright to do so myself and I might if I can find the darn pdf.

I believe that not every single detail of our lives was preplanned. The end results, of whatever we came here to learn, were preplanned but how we get down that “path of learning” is up to us and our free will. I don’t think we always learn the lesson we came into these lifetimes to learn either and that’s why we choose to keep coming back.

I believe that when we decided to come into these lifetimes on earth we did agree to living a life where there is both dark and light and good and bad. If everything were perfect with no suffering or hardships then imagine how boring life would be. There would be nothing to gain if life were perfect.

Absolutely, lots of “details” are left to “fate”, the ups and downs of the economy, etc etc. We come in knowing that “shit happens” regardless of the wisdom of choices, and likely we just laugh about it, knowing we’ll be stupid sometimes but that we’ll get through it all and come out the other side.
