How to Make Your Own Dowsing Rods And Use Them to Measure Your Aura
Dowsing rods are excellent for finding water however, these highly sensitive tools measure many kinds of energy fields, including the human aura. The video below is a fun experiment that demonstrates the remarkable ability of rods to measure various energy fields, including your aura and even beings that are around you.
If you don’t happen to have any copper dowsing rods, no problem. Two wire clothes hangers will do nicely.
Below is the finished dowsing rod made from the hanger with a handle and a pointer. You will need two cut like the one below.
Copper is most conductive to energy but the metal in these kinds of clothes hangers are pretty sensitive too.
How to Use Your New Rods to Measure Your Aura
This works best with a willing partner but you can measure your own aura and since everything has an electrical energy field you can measure other live things. If you have a pet you can see their aura throughout the day as they are napping or playing. Even a plant’s aura can be seen using rods.
All life exists together in different densities within the same space so it’s easy to find a person wandering around in energy form with your rods. If you hold them very still pointing straight ahead then say in your mind, “if there’s anybody in this room, move the rods in your direction”. Your rods will follow the person (energy body or spirit) as they move. Don’t do this if you have some fear of ghosts.
Years ago I ordered a brand new set of dowsing rods and my daughter and I were playing with them on the first night they had come in the mail. We did the aura experiment from the video below and were blown away at how well it worked. Later we were sitting on the couch and I had the rods in my hands. Suddenly the rods flew quickly to the right. Then they slowly moved, on their own, to the left. The hairs on the back of both of our necks went up with a strong feeling of energy in the room. I decided I would ask a question. I asked, “if there is a live being in this room please move to the right”. Suddenly my rods moved to the right. I asked if the being would move to the left and my rods moved left. There was no doubt that a live being was there and it’s energy field was pulling the rods in it’s direction. I mention this little story because rods are attracted to all kinds of energy fields so be aware of that if you’ve never used them before.

Marcel Joseph Vogel, (1917 – 1991) was a research scientist for IBM’s San Jose facility for 27 years. He received over 100 patents for his inventions during this time. Among these was the magnetic coating for the 24 ” hard disc drive systems still in use. His areas of expertise were phosphor technology, liquid crystal systems, luminescence, and magnetics.
In the 1970’s Vogel did pioneering work in “man to plant” communication experiments. This led him to the study of quartz crystals and the creation of a faceted crystal; The Vogel Crystal. Vogel’s research into the therapeutic application of quartz crystals led him to the investigation of the relationship between crystals and water. He discovered that he could structure water by spinning it around a tuned crystal, altering many of the characteristics of the water and converting it into an information storage system.
