I had surgery on Friday at the hospital. I checked in early and was immediately assigned a private room to get my covid test and wait for the surgery to start. I was given no sedatives or drugs of any kind since surgery would be a few hours away.
I had a nurse coming and going getting me ready for surgery. She was taking my blood pressure when what appeared to be smoke quickly formed high in one corner of the little room. This misty smoke had a definable head and two arms. His eyes where like glowing lights. The rest of him was just smoke.
The nurse’s eyes got really large and she was very shocked and upset. She stayed glued in place for a moment mumbling something I couldn’t hear then she said, “that looks like smoke coming from the air vent. I’m going to go find out if everything is okay”, and she left the room.
When the nurse left I was alone with what I knew was a spirit or ghost. I call him “he” because he felt very masculine. He spoke to me telepathically and said that I had nothing to fear there in room eight. I could relax because this time the surgery would go well. He said that he had been a doctor at the hospital for 72 years since it opened in 1950 so he had a lot of experience. The ghost then flew across the room and I felt a soft touch on my cheek from him. Then he disappeared just as the nurse came back with a maintenance man.
The maintenance man came carrying a ladder (another ladder in my life right now) which he unfolded and climbed to the air vent on the ceiling. He opened the vent and found nothing at all. He didn’t smell smoke and he didn’t see anything wrong. He replaced the vent and left. The nurse said she thought it must have been our imagination or something. I could tell she did not want to discuss it further so I didn’t tell her what happened when she left the room.
Today I felt a little better and that ghost has been on my mind since that day of my surgery. The number 8 has stuck with me since the ghost said that I had nothing to fear in room eight. It was so out of context and intuitively I felt that I should pay attention to the number 8. The room number was actually 4308 but on the door was a sign that read, “8”.
When I got up out of the hospital bed the floor felt hollow in that spot because there were two curtain rod holders on the floor formed in a circle around the bed, one inside the other. There were also two circle curtain rod holders on the ceiling. This room was likely part of a ward in 1950 when the hospital opened and the rod holders at one time held curtains that were closed for the privacy of the patient. Now days the hospital has built walls so there were no curtains needed. There’s that number eight again; two circles form an eight. There was one on the floor and one on the ceiling.
I have since found some interesting facts about the number eight:
Eight is the number of universal equilibrium; it is said that number 8 consists of two circles or rings and therefore it is incredibly powerful because everything that integer 8 touches is doubles in size. (So, there I was inside those powerful circles that used to hold rings on floor and ceiling).
Number 8 is truly unique. If the number 8 appears in your presence, it’s not a coincidence. It carries ultimate powerful energy. It’s a harbinger of better forthcoming days. Through this number I was being told that all would go well with the surgery.
The colors that surround the 8 are yellow and blue. (I was wearing a blue hospital gown and the non-slip socks provided by the hospital were bright yellow)
The ghost was telling me that I had nothing to fear today by making me pay attention to the number 8. And he was right, the surgery went even better than expected.
