My Mind Was Forever Changed

I drifted out of body,
Astral form released,
Upon the ether’s currents
I soared and spread my wings.
I flew beyond the clouds,
Above the vast blue sea,
Through galaxies of stars
And nebulae aglow.
I traveled to other worlds,
To distant solar systems,
Where strange and wondrous beings
Lived in peace and harmony.
I saw the birth and death of stars,
The formation of galaxies,
The vastness of the universe,
And the beauty of creation.
I returned to my body,
But my mind was forever changed,
For I had glimpsed the wonders
Of the universe beyond.
I knew that I was not alone,
That there were other beings
Out there in the universe,
And that we were all connected.
I was filled with awe and wonder,
And a deep sense of gratitude
For the gift of life,
And the opportunity to experience
The incredible beauty of the universe.
