We are eternal beings living a lifetime on Earth for the purpose of soul growth and experience. We have lived many lives in the physical and non-physical realms, by choice, but we can’t remember them. The reason for our amnesia is not such a perplexing mystery. The amnesia we experience upon entering physical existence serves a purpose. It shields us from the memories of our previous lives and the life we live between lives, at a place I call Home.
Amnesia acts as a crucial element in the process of soul evolution. With each physical life you choose to live, you are presented with a unique opportunity for personal growth, learning, and self-discovery. By removing the memories of past lives and the memories of Home, you can approach your current existence with a fresh perspective, free from the biases, burdens, and attachments of previous experiences.
Imagine carrying the burden of every past life memory, with all the joys, sorrows, and mistakes. It would be challenging to truly start anew and learn the necessary lessons in each incarnation. The process of forgetting grants us an opportunity to approach each life with a clean slate, allowing for personal growth and evolution unencumbered by past experiences. Amnesia allows us to focus on fulfilling our life’s purpose.
Our amnesia of remembering our past is instrumental in preserving free will too. If we were to remember all our past experiences, we might be inclined to replicate the choices and patterns we followed in previous lives, diminishing our capacity for personal growth and self-determination.
Amnesia ensures that we are not influenced or burdened by past mistakes or achievements. It grants us the freedom to explore different paths, make fresh choices, and take responsibility for our actions in the present. By doing so, we have the opportunity to advance spiritually and develop our own unique character throughout each physical incarnation.
Amnesia also introduces an essential aspect of the human experience, the test of faith and the journey of self-discovery. The inability to recall Home or past lives creates a sense of curiosity and wonder about our current existence, prompting us to explore, question, and seek answers. It encourages the exploration of various philosophical, religious, and metaphysical frameworks, and fosters a deeper connection with the unknown.
For some, the pursuit of answers becomes a spiritual quest, a personal exploration that can lead to profound insights and transformative experiences. The absence of memory invites us to embrace our own innate wisdom, intuition, and inner guidance as we navigate the complexities of life.
The absence of past life memories is an integral part of the human journey, inviting us to explore the depths of our being, to seek wisdom, and to uncover the mysteries that lie beyond the veil. As we continue to contemplate our existence, it is in the pursuit of answers that we may discover the true nature of our journey and the profound interconnectedness that transcends the boundaries of life itself.
