We hear many times, in many places, that we manifest our own reality and that we create all the material things around us.
How could the chair in which I sit while I write this post consist of manifested energy? I can feel it holding me up. I am sitting sheltered inside my home and outside my window is a thunderstorm. Are my eyes not seeing the rain as it falls? Do my ears not hear the thunder?
That brings us to the question, “Does a tree fall in the forest if nobody is there to see it?”. The answer is no. A tree does not fall in the forest if nobody is there to see it, and further, the forest doesn’t exist either unless it’s being manifested. Before we came into these physical bodies we agreed to come here into a physical reality that we co-create. We co-create our physical world together.
Imagine your current lifetime here on earth as a game. All the players in the game agreed to play together and there are rules to be followed. There is a lot you can learn and many levels you can climb but the game still has its limitations. You agreed to play the game following the rules because you learn and grow as you play this particular game. It’s not an easy game but you decide how you play.
There are many other physical worlds and they have their own rules. You may have experienced lifetimes on these other planets too. No doubt you have also experienced lifetimes where you and your environment were completely non-physical.
Our physical bodies are very specialized. They are perfect for experiencing life in the physical. They allow us to feel many things that can’t be experienced in the non-physical without a physical body. The feeling of touch, the strong emotions, the experience of the survival instinct are very different in a physical body. We learn through our experiences with these bodies, AND, they keep us in the game of creating our reality here on earth in these lifetimes.
Our eyes are very special. They can be thought of as projectors. They are connected to our physical brain. Our physical brain runs our body and also projects what it knows to the eyes. The area at the top of your brain, called the somatosensory cortex, senses what your eyes see first. It then sends the signal down to your physical brain and the brain sends the signal to your eyes. Lastly, you experience sight. This happens so quickly that it feels as though our physical eyes see the object first.
If the physical brain does not know something it can not create that reality through the eyes. For instance, think of a bear. You can create that in your brain because your brain has learned what it understands a bear to look like. Now, think of an “intanert”. Can you create an image of that in your mind? I made up the word, intanert so it only exists in my realty. It’s not a shared reality because it doesn’t fit in any of the languages we agreed to use while we experience our lifetimes.
We create our physical world together as co-creators but we are also creators in our own right so we can, and do, create on our own just as I created that new word, “intanert”. In the non-physical we don’t talk to communicate, we use telepathy so being able to express ourselves through language, using speech, is also something we came here to experience. However, we have to keep to the rules of language here in the physical and the word, “intanert” was not agreed upon in this game as a co-creation.
Our eyes are the monitor in which we play this game of life. The monitor connects to the computer just as our eyes connect to our brain, our computer. Some people chose to come into this lifetime without the use of eyesight. This is a challenge that would seem very difficult to most of us with eyesight. However, the body is an expert at doing what it can to keep you in the game so the brain takes over and other senses become stronger allowing those with little or no eyesight to stay in the game.
This also clearly demonstrates how we actually see using our brain first. Those without the full use of their eyesight have very strong senses about what’s around them that comes to them from their brain first. A life without the full use of your eyes is a challenge and many more life lessons are learned with physical challenges.
The eyes really are windows to the real us. Our energy body is the real us and this body is non-physical. It animates and runs our physical body so we can experience this life in the physical realm.
Now that brings us to the question of why we would choose to come into these lives and project the physical realty in which we live. If it’s a game, and a very challenging one, why would we choose these lives? After all, many other physical and non-physical worlds exist with a different set of rules, so why this one? That’s a question with a different answer for each of us. Lifetimes are chosen before we experience them by us. We choose lifetimes to experience learning and growth. The real us knows that we are eternal and we can experience as many lives, in as many ways, as we choose, forever.
