One of the early stages on the inner journey is seeing that we are lost in the fogs of society’s directives and the ego’s fear based vanities. We start to feel as if everything we once knew for sure is wrong and that a new set of truths and values have to be discovered and developed. As we explore these many possibilities for action we usually have to let go of our need for approval from family and friends, those supports we used to take for granted when we played by the rules no-one talked about.
SSILD is a lucid dreaming technique. It is easy to learn, highly effective, and produces consistent results over a period of time. The feedback on the technique was overwhelmingly positive. Within just a few months we gathered many hundreds of success stories!
Our physical bodies are very specialized. They are perfect for experiencing life in the physical. They allow us to feel many things that can’t be experienced in the non-physical. The feeling of touch, the strong emotions, the experience of the survival instinct are very different in a physical body. We learn through our experiences with these bodies, AND, they keep us in the game of creating our reality here on earth in these lifetimes. But how does this happen? How do we create a world that feels so real and so material?
In our indulgence and guilt culture, the importance of desire has been diminished to some level just above crime and punishment. Diminished by some distant echo of puritan piety which values denial and control over daring and experimentation.
