After writing three books on the Afterlife and Reincarnation cycles, I wondered how succinctly I might express the wisdom I had accumulated from my experience and research. Everyone, after a couple of drinks, likes to ruminate on the meaning of life, and I thought this might add some funky fuel to the fire.
Metaphysics doesn’t get much simpler and easier to digest than this. So, take it away, wordofgord!
Around 2013, after finishing my Afterlife Trilogy (Eternal Life and How To Enjoy It, More Adventures In Eternity, You Are History, and the novel, An American In Heaven, which came to about 800 pages when lumped together, I got to wondering if I could sum up all that I had learned about the meaning of life and the afterlife in 100 pages or less. It was an intriguing challenge and one that I enjoyed immensely as the two dialogues gradually emerged with their bemused and sassy attitude intact.
Now a decade has passed in what seems like about three months, and I would love to reissue them on Kindle to an unsuspecting public who perhaps assume that such mysticism and metaphysics has to be serious, profound, portentous, and so on. Not so. For example:
“What is the meaning of life?”
“On this planet it means acquiring individuality at the expense of conformity and accumulating all possible experiences in the data banks of your soul”
“It’s that simple? What about stopping war and ending world hunger, and maybe imprisoning all viruses and bacteria in a large and impenetrable underground bunker?”
“Those are undoubtedly important issues, very important issues, but ultimately they fall into the category above, that of accumulating experiences in your data banks.”

I found The Word Of Gord On The Meaning Of Life to be quite an unusual book. Written as a conversation, Gordon leads the reader through the series of the most profound questions known to man – about God, consciousness, reality and the meaning of life. The entertaining discussion clearly reveals Gordon’s deeper understanding of the nature of things without enforcing his beliefs and opinions on the reader, but instead encouraging one’s own curiosity to look for their own answers and truths.
Highly enjoyable and definitely worth reading.

Gordon is multi-talented in his writing style. this particular book displays a light hearted adventure through some of life’s most serious questions. Gordon approaches the piece in conversational style, making it easy to feel like you are there in the same room, talking to someone who’s been there, done that, and wants to share it with you. It’s true, you can be entertained by a writer, at the same time attaining bits of information that is useful to our philosophy and to our curiosities. Gordon is never stuffy in his approach to communicate with us, he is a combination of Mr. Casual, with an exceeding penchant for fearless adventure and discovery.
