“This was an astonishing book to compose way back when, as my naivete about my obe abilities far outweighed my conscious knowledge. It is a deep dive into multidimensionality, and as such exposes the illusion of the separated ego mercilessly. I am quite used to all the wild rides described herein now, but back then, wow!”
~ Gordon Phinn
This new edition is aimed at all those who missed the first iteration and prefer the ease of the digital download. The first print edition is still available through John Hunt Books and other outlets like Amazon. Much has occured in my personal journey since the first edition, but 99% of the text is still relevant and useful to those seekers keen to uncover their multidimensional selves. Also relevant is part three of, The Afterlife Trilogy: You Are History, which pursues many of the themes first broached here.
More Adventures In Eternity covers a year in my life where “events”, both physical and astral, piled up upon each other until a small mountain of mysteries compelled me to climb it and see how everything looked from the summit. As you may imagine, it was a whole new world, as it will be for you as reader. Unraveling the threads first explored in, Eternal Life And How To Enjoy It and finding that every one of them lead to subtler and subtler mysteries and enigmas, I saw that the “I” of the perceiver and seeker was but one of several ‘I’s’ all connected to one Monad/Higher Self who wasn’t exactly ‘running the show’ but sure enjoyed observing it and taking notes.
It is, as Higher Self/Monad, that ‘we’ arrived on Gaia millennia ago and initiated the reincarnation cycles that we are observing now, the many rebirths in many forms that helped create not only the landscapes of nature but the tribes, nations and religions that competed for dominance until the defeat of exhaustion set in, allowing the higher ideals of compassion and internationalism to enter the fray and begin to fulfil the ancient promise of the ‘brotherhood of man’ which many of us now see as the ‘brotherhood of all sentient beings’.
During the composition of More Adventures I discovered that once freed from my limiting self-definitions, I could communicate with spirits high and low, most of whom were willing to meet me halfway, as it were. And once your sense of unworthiness evaporates you will find this is true for you. The human dead, nature spirits, aliens, angels, spirit guides, prophets, all can contacted. Patient but persistent seeking is all that’s required.
Gordon Phinn has been writing all his adult life, his first book of poetry, “Lyrical Shifts” being issued in 1975. His first priority is high quality literary composition, regardless of the genre he’s working in. So when his first afterlife, book, “Eternal Life And How To Enjoy It” was issued in 2004 by Hampton Roads, he was as proud of it as any essay or novel. That book garnered praise and readership worldwide, and a sequel, “More Adventures In Eternity” was issued by o-books in 2008.
