Why Fears Are Reinforced
In our human culture many channels have evolved to reinforce the basic drive of fear. After centuries of the geological formation process, poisonous gases fiery furnaces and the like, we left the paradise bubble of spirit for the physical plane, knowing that it was especially designed to accommodate separated forms all dependent on nourishment to survive and thus confined to being either hunter or hunted. We knew but of course we were fixed up to forget. Devouring the other for survival was the game plan, with both ‘self’ and ‘other’ as the pawns of illusion in sustaining the game, a new one to test our adaptability and ingenuity. A game we volunteered for on completing other courses ‘elsewhere’ in the manifest universe. Pick your planet or galaxy, it matters little, we all came from somewhere else, psychic baggage carefully stored. Somewhere with its own set of circumstances and challenges. Experienced, wise or naïve, we heard the sales job promising us graduation from the tough haul on Earth from those (masters of wisdom, lords of karma, etc.) who plotted the course. We signed on knowing and knowing we’d forget.
Originally, and I’m going way back here, when we shifted from the astral realms to the physical at their first stage of readiness, which I believe was the epoch known as Lemurian, we descended into landscapes long under construction, mainly by devas specialising in such, and then on a timeline to be replete with giant flesh eating animals of the dinosaur era, which would regard us little folk as ideal fodder for dinner. But first we got our chance to align ourselves with the rigors of the physical plane, those basic survival mechanisms that astral beings never had to deal with. We quickly learned escape routes like climbing trees and hiding in caves. The esoteric purpose of such was to build a first chakra, that flight-or-flight response we are now so familiar with. First chakras are not required in the spirit realms, as there exists no real ‘other’ to compete with for survival.
As the centuries piled one on another and various challenges and calamities swept us in and out of the physical plane, the tribal raids that readied us for wars, the customary floods, fires, droughts and plagues, Mother Nature learning the ropes as it were, all at our expense as the suffering narrative would have it, our species, as all others, learned to adapt. As our descent into the thick ignorance of matter was still in its early stages, our connection to spirit, that sphere that we regularly revisited, life spans being, to say the least, short, supplied us with a still strong connection to the understanding of the evolutionary experiment at play, despite our continued hounding by fears.
As families morphed into clans, tribes and nations, and we sophisticated ourselves with agriculture, arts and crafts, the other chakras, second to seventh, were gradually built until we arrived at where we are now, conscious or semiconscious multidimensional beings with a strong focus in the physical and emotional realms. And while many of us can give and receive unconditional love through the fourth, heart chakra, the broadcasting of fear from a number of sources remains undiminished. Sometimes it seems we are surrounded by it. The major media, the original bad news bears for sure, never cease from their grief and tragedy song and dance act, reminding us that society is jammed packed with the constant threat of violence, disease, crime, poverty, profits pumped up by public relations in the guise of undeniable evidence, injustice and war. Activists and culture critics constantly give evidence of corruption, manipulation of statistics and evidence, and barefaced lies. Religions warn of punishment, usually eternal, when guidelines are not followed to the letter. Governments threaten individualists and dissidents, their power reinforced by security agencies and surveillance round the clock. Hollywood makes millions from the thrilling shivers of fear generated by the horror genre. Science, in the guise of medicine, promotes fear of the unknown, often those tiny particles that reportedly infest the air we breathe.
All is not fear, but it easily can be if one swallows the pill and unquestioningly accepts the diagnosis. Fears are reinforced for many reasons, the most prominent being: (1) governing elites have learned that they are very useful methods of social control, (2) religious elites have found that they keep the flock in line, supporting the hierarchy of functionaries and the one true path to the one true heaven, (3) corporate elites employ entertainment to keep us in fear of transgressors, psychopaths, conmen and one issue fanatics, (4) military elites keep us primed with threatening enemies that need to be fought and defeated with ever increasing budgets.
Our species, as almost all others, is addicted to fear, such that it is considered common sense. We are learning to balance it with love and compassion, but it’s power seems to know no end as younger souls come online and into its shadow, obeying its dictates without reflection. Fortunately, many of us have learned to shuck a goodly number of these falsely generated fears, leaving us with the usual environmental and minor financial/health worries as we make our way towards the fun house mirror of mortality, knowing full well the paradise that lies beyond. But we are yet aware of the millions still enthralled by the fears the elites produce for the willing audiences.
Is the evolutionary purpose to develop courage, knowledge and discernment, and use them to leap over the various hurdles placed in our path by those who require payment, piety and obedience? I am sure it is. And perhaps it goes without saying that the wilful access to courage and discernment includes a goodly measure of compassion and charity for those still enmeshed in fears. And if it does not, maybe double check your priorities.
Fears continue to be reinforced by those unconscious career collaborators in corporate, government, religious and military agendas, initially seduced by their self-promoting and sustaining myths and then bribed by financial inducements and status to continue in their well dressed psychic slavery. While they work their way though their reassuring illusions it provides a very useful impetus for those souls as yet unready to assume control of their sovereign individuality, keeping them on a lower rung of the evolutionary ladder, so that they may ultimately learn the necessary lessons in liberating themselves. And when they find that generals, bishops, CEO’s, presidents and billionaires, all the window dressing of control and manipulation, know nothing of real value other than the accumulation and preservation of wealth and power, perhaps we can help them find their new feet. Perhaps we can help them see how subtle and all-encompassing the propagation of fear actually is once its footprints have been noticed in the sands of their comforts and pleasures, noticed even as they’re being washed away by the incoming tides of mainstream cultural propaganda.
