The Fortune Tarot card shows the working of the Universe. The three alchemical principles spinning continually on the wheel on life. The wheel has ten spokes and spins counter clockwise drawing ten plumes of energy like a whirlpool. We see that sphinx at the top of the wheel is sitting comfortably. The other two are just trying to hang on.

The wheel can represent life. The wheel comes to say; what goes around, comes around. When we feel powerless then it’s time to get back on top sitting as the sphinx, comfortably and with our inner guidance and strength.
