The Deity Is Not Up For Discussion
“The Deity Is Not Up For Discussion, is a fictional novel that was conceived and composed as something of a social satire on life in the 90’s where I live, the western suburbs of Toronto, Canada. I also wanted to contrast the OBE experiences of a newbie who cannot believe what he is experiencing while sleeping with the so-called normal day-to-day activities and interpersonal challenges of life. As a facilitator/counsellor, I had many clients who spoke to me of such confusions. Can one integrate the magical & surreal OBE experience with the all too predictable irritations of the day?” ~ Gordon Phinn
The Deity Is Not Up For Discussion – Chapter One
“You’re dreaming George. You’re dreaming and you’re not quite used to it. But don’t worry you’re in good hands now.” This was not quite as helpful as I’d hoped. It was the kind of definition that left you on the outside looking in. “Well that’s good to know Mavis. I never would have guessed that being a lost soul would be so much fun.” ~ Gordon Phinn
